Tole Park Community Preschool is a nurturing and vibrant early learning community preschool grounded in respectful relationships. Under new management and leadership, we are reimagining early childhood education by creating a warm, inclusive space where each child’s identity, culture, and individuality are valued and celebrated.

Located on Ponsonby Terrace, in the heart of the community, our preschool backs onto the beautiful Tole Reserve, offering tamariki weekly opportunities to explore the natural world through all five senses and develop a deeper connection to nature.

Our certificated Kaiako brings over 30 years of experience and knowledge in Early Childhood Education.

Low teacher: child ratios

Kaiako have the time to develop deep, trusting relationships with each tamariki, creating a sense of belonging and security. This respectful, unhurried approach fosters autonomy, allowing tamariki to engage at their own pace in a nurturing environment.

Small license size

With a maximum of 30 tamariki, we provide unhurried learning experiences, ensuring tamariki have ample time for sustained, meaningful play.

Spacious environment

Our open, uncluttered space encourages child-led play, where tamariki have the opportunity to engage with their environment in ways that support independent learning, self-regulation, and connection with themselves and others.

Extended hours

Open from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM, we support the needs of our busy whānau while maintaining a consistent, predictable routine, helping tamariki feel secure and confident in their environment.

Our Tole Tribe Wellness Programme fosters emotional, physical, and social well-being through fun, engaging learning experiences that support tamariki in developing a balanced, calm mind and body.
